Camana Bay, Cayman Islands, May 3, 2024. Infinitum Energy (“Infinitum“ or the “Company“) is pleased to announce the Company received approval from the Sierra Leone Ministry of Energy on April 30, 2024 for Infinitum’s landmark 30MW Waste-to-Energy Project in Freetown, Sierra Leone (the “Project”).
Infinitum believes the Project represents the largest impact of any single project on the continent of Africa and will be revolutionary for Sierra Leone.

With this Ministry of Energy approval, Infinitum and the Government of Sierra Leone will begin the process of entering into binding agreements for the project. These include, but not limited to the Power Purchase Agreement, Implementation Agreement, Connection Agreement and Waste Administration Agreement.
